The London Children's Palliative Care Network (LCPCN) was established in June 2007, following the Department of Health's Independent Review of Children's Palliative Care.

LCPCN aims to ensure a more integrated approach to children's palliative care, involving multi-disciplinary agencies from both the statutory and voluntary sectors, including social care, education and children's hospice services.

LCPCN has drafted its Terms of Reference - you can download a copy here, but please note that these are "Draft" Terms of Reference.

The LCPCN is currently developing a pan-London strategy with the aim of improving outcomes and experiences for children with palliative care needs. This will then be split into five sub-regional groups across London, focussing on the more operational needs of each area - for further information, see the information sheet.

The Co-chairs of LCPCN are Katrina McNamara-Goodger and Rachel Cooke and its newsletter editor is Dalton Leong.
