ACT (Association for Children’s Palliative Care) will be holding two summer conferences this year in England and Scotland. Both these conferences will be focusing on developing and strengthening children’s palliative care networks, and delegates will hear about the plans to improve a care pathway approach to ACT’s work with children and families. The First Scottish Children’s and Young People’s Palliative Care Network National Conference will be on the 3rd of June at the Carlton Hotel in Edinburgh. Delegates can join with ACT and the new Scottish Children’s and Young People’s Palliative Care Network’s (SCYPPCN) professionals and practitioners. Delegates will be able to meet the newly appointed Scottish Nurse Consultants and join the discussion with them – A New Vision for Scotland. The Keynote speakers will include Rory Farrelly, National Advisor (Scotland) to Chief Nursing Officer for Children’s and Young People’s Nursing. The delegate rate is £30 for SCYPPCN members and £90 for non-members.
